Michelle Joy Carmichael (she/her/hers) is a dedicated advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion, with a rooted commitment to building vibrant communities. A Gwich'in and Inuvialuit woman from the Northwest Territories, she grew up hunting, fishing, and harvesting in her family's remote camps. With her experience in the community, Michelle is known for her passion for diversity and growth. Her expertise includes economic development, community engagement, education, training, and resource consultation. Michelle is a skilled communicator, consultant, and mentor, recognized for her advocacy within Indigenous communities and public service. Her approach is rooted in understanding and connecting with people's unique stories.
