WCEL Comments on the draft Terms of Reference for the Proposed New Prosperity Mine Project

This document contains West Coast Environmental Law's comments on the Draft Terms of Reference (“TOR”) for the proposed New Prosperity Gold-Copper Mine Project. Our comments focus on two areas of concern: (1) the role of First Nations and Indigenous peoples in this assessment and in environmental assessment more generally; (2) the arbitrary and unfairly restricted timelines proposed in the draft Terms Of Reference .
