Water Act Modernization Submission to Ministry of Environment

This is the West Coast Environmental Law review of the BC Ministry of Environment’s 2010 Water Act Modernization Discussion Paper. While there are several proposals in the Discussion Paper that are positive, we feel that as a whole the Province’s Discussion Paper raises some major concerns about the rights of domestic and small scale water users, as well as failing to endorse measures that adequately protect water sources.
